The Mossman/Port Douglas Raine and Horne office has smashed the competition and won the award for most sales of any Raine and Horne office in Queensland.

The team brought home an award for excellence in product engagement while Samantha McLaughin was awarded residential property manager of the year.

The office won an award for Product Engagement for the team's use of Amplify, an initiative in artificial intelligence technology.

Amplify enabled the entire Raine and Horne global network to promote and sell over 6,000 listings in 2018 through social media platforms.

David Cotton, Director of Raine and Horne Mossman/Port Douglas, said it’s the dedicated local team that makes this office great.

“Teamwork, dedication and the adoption of Amplify set us apart in 2018,” said Mr Cotton.

“There is no doubt that Amplify put our properties in front of more eyeballs last year and is the reason we sold more properties than any other office in our network in Queensland.

“Vendors are also seeing that we are sending our listings far and wide via Amplify and social media and this is, in turn, encouraging more owners to list their properties with us.”

Property manager Jocelyn Schumacher was honoured with the Graeme Skarratt Award; named for 60-year veteran of Raine and Horne and a long-time director of the firm.

Mr Cotton said Ms Schumacher’s strong work ethic and dedication to her role and her Property Management team has won her the recognition.

“She brilliantly combines her many roles as business owner, an ambassador for the brand and mother,” he said.

“However the main reason she won this prestigious award was for her leadership, respect amongst her peers and in the team.”

2017 Rookie of the Year for Sales, Charlie Madgwick, finished in the Top Salesperson categories for Dollar Value and Number of Sales.

Ms Madgwick was elevated into the Chairman’s Club for her sales efforts in 2018.
