A graphic from Council below shows how finding is currently allocated across the areas of Council responsibility.
Surveys have already started being retuned to Council with answers of all sorts despite the deadline for responses being Monday 18 March.
One of the survey respondents suggested that for US President Barack Obama should be employed as tourism ambassador for the region.
Survey responses will be analysed and reviewed by Councillors as part of the 2019-2024 Corporate Plan development.
Community workshops will be organised after the results are analysed to inform and educate residents about the development of the new Corporate Plan.
The existing Corporate Plan may be found on Council’s website or by typing Douglas Shire Council corporate plan into your preferred search engine.
