Boat slips from trailer blocking Warner Street

BREAKING

Victoria Stone-Meadows
A group of people, including police and local business people, were roped into moving a boat from the middle of Warner Street that came loose and fell off it's trailer today.
The small boat, approximately 18 feet long, plonked to the middle of the wet road as the driver turned from Warner Street onto Owen Street at just after midday today.
The driver appeared to be unaware that his load had left the trailer and the boat sat in the middle of the street for about three minutes before the driver of the white Land Cruiser returned for his marooned vessel.
Local business people and passing pedestrians formed a group as the driver and police worked to return the boat to it's trailer.
Pedestrians surrounding the mishap made light of the situation insinuating the man was more prepared than most for the heavy rain and potential flooding on Warner Street.
