Sy Dolphin’s platform helps to spark electric answers
BUSINESS FEATURE
Sy Dolphin Electrical is arming customers with a new tool to educate themselves on all things electrical safety.
Amber Dolphin and husband Sy, of Sy Dolphin Electrical have been operating the family run business in the Douglas Shire since 2004.
The couple has recently launched a new website that will feature tips, education, and answer frequently asked electrical questions for customers to freely access.
“The website has been updated with information that will help people out,” Ms Dolphin said.
“It is a tool to help customers get clarity on what services we offer and is also an educational tool.
“We get a lot of the same questions from different customers about what their obligations are, for example with smoke alarms or what they are required to do with safety switches.
“My plan is to develop a number of blogs that will get this information to customers so that they can use the website as a source of information and be able to make a decision on whether or not they need some work done.”
The Dolphin’s built their business on their reputation for being reliable and providing great customer service and their new website is just another way to help their customers going forward.
“We do a lot to try to educate our customers and help them find the best way to do things to save them money in the long run,” Ms Dolphin said.
“We started out as a very small business with my husband and myself and have built it in the subsequent years.”
From their small beginnings working out of a Nissan Patrol, to the team of tradesman now working out of purpose-built commercial shed in Craiglie Business Park, Sy Dolphin Electrical services resorts, renovations, real estate properties, and domestic work around the region.
Over the years Sy Dolphin Electricals’ commitment to customer service and their trade has been reflected in the number of awards the team has received, including ‘Best Trade Company’ and ‘Best Tradie’ at the Douglas Business Awards as well as being recognised at the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Awards.
Keep an eye out for new blog posts on the Sy Dolphin Electrical website for everything you need to know about your electrics or give the team a call on 0740991657 for more information.
