The Aussie Pub Comedy Tour is coming to Port Douglas and Newsport is giving two readers the chance to win a double pass to the gig.

If you’re looking for the perfect night of entertainment at your local venue look no further than The Aussie Pub Comedy Tour.

Commencing their first tour in January 2018 Chris “The Bloke” Franklin, The Nelson Twins and Evan Hocking have quickly turned “The Aussie Pub Comedy Tour” into one of the most popular comedy shows in Australia.

They’ve performed the show at several suburban pubs and clubs as well as toured extensively through regional towns and had crowds gasping for air with their uniquely Aussie brand of humour.

This weekend, the show will be bringing their comedy stylings to the Port Douglas Crocs AFL clubrooms.

This hilarious two-hour stand-up show packs a punch with the laughs coming thick and fast. The strength of the show is the boys laid back, down to earth and relatable humour.

The guys give everything while they’re on stage and after the shows done the fellers love nothing more than sharing a cold one with the punters.

Chris “The Bloke” Franklin has headlined all around the world and is probably best known for his Number 1 hit song “Bloke” which went platinum and was nominated for two ARIA awards.

Brad Oakes has a comedy career spanning 30 years. His performances range from clubs to cruise ships, plus corporate gigs and sports clubs.

He has also appeared on TV shows such as Hey Hey It’s Saturday, Rove Live and featured on the Comedy Company.

Evan “Buddha” Hocking spent 4 years in Port Douglas living the dream by cleaning pools and captaining the local Crocs Football team. Since moving back to Melbourne he’s supported acts like Dave Hughes, Dave O’Neil, Fiona O’Loughlin and Lawrence Mooney.

He’s toured all over Australia and his laid-back persona and relaxed delivery have made him a favourite with suburban and regional crowds.

Get your tickets here for Saturday 27 July at the Port Douglas Sporting Complex. Doors open at 7.00pm for an 8.30pm show.

To be in the running to win one of two double passes to the show, share this Facebook post and comment the code word “Aussie” in the comment section below.

The winner will be drawn on Friday 26 July with the winners contacted via email and announced on the Newsport Facebook page.
