New massage service bringing relaxation into homes

Newsport readers have a chance to redeem a free massage thanks to Realign Massage, a new Port Douglas mobile massage service.
Over the next few months, one complementary 60-minute massage per month, for either a single or couple will be given away in a competition exclusive to Newsport subscribers.
Realign Massage is an exclusively mobile massage service, bringing the massage experience to homes around the Port Douglas and Mossman area.
Owner Josh Stead runs Realign Massage with partner Eliza Reilly and said they offer both remedial and relaxation massages and can tailor to singles, couples, and groups.
“Eliza focuses more on remedial services and she gets good results in her treatments, working on people with sports injuries and ailments; any ailment, she knows how to work through very well,” Mr Stead said.
“For me I’m into more relaxation therapy, especially here in Port Douglas as people come here to relax, that's my speciality. I want to help people calm their nervous system.
“We’re living stressed lives for the most part and I think that it's good to just have one hour on your own to just surrender and let go.
“Taking care of your body should be at the top of your priorities,” he said.
Mr Stead and Ms Reilly have a combined experience of over 24 years in the massage industry along with their highly trained team of professionals at Realign Massage.
“Regular therapeutic massages will have you feeling, looking, and simply being healthier far into the future.
“In fact, stress relief alone can improve your vitality and state of mind so what better way to prep for a long happy life than a relaxing massage.”
“There are so many healing benefits in the power of touch,” he said.
Realign Massage is open seven days a week from 9.00am to 9.00pm and Mr Stead said the later opening hours in conjunction with having the massage brought to you, caters to clients busy lives and is especially popular for people with young families.
“It's the ease of it all; after having a massage you don't have to go home just go straight and sit on the couch or to bed.
“We bring everything that's needed, I've got the table in one hand and the carry bag with everything in it in the other.”
“We can set up in a pretty small space too so you don't need a whole lot of room.”
