Douglas Netball Round 13 saw the Young Gun’s take on Jets 1 with a close first quarter.

The Young Guns came out firing defeating Jets 1 56-26.

Players choices’ were Emma Vizard and Mel Mussett and best and fairest went to Kate Padovan.

The Cougars then took on the Crocs 1 with the Cougars taking the lead early before holding it right until the end to win 47-35.

Best and Fairest went to Hiromi Wall and players choices’ went to Nichelle Pitt and Hollie Powell.

In division two, the Jets 2 and Crocs 2 match was a fair fight seeing Jets 2 take the win 44-26.

Players choices’ went to Sharni Thomas and Mercedes Ramsey with Mercedes also receiving best and fairest.

Lastly, the Drifters took on the Young Diamonds in tough match which saw the Young Diamonds outrun the Drifters, taking the win 39-23.

Players choices’ were Georgia Crimmins and Renae Shapter with Shapter also receiving best and fairest.

In the juniors competition the Saints took on Port.

Both young teams came out firing putting in a great effort however, Miallo were able to defeat Port 14-9.

Players choices’ were Hayley Fischer and Sophie while best and fairest went to Mahana Davis.

Next, the Panthers versed Strikers in a fast-paced game that saw an extremely strong first quarter from the Panthers setting them up with an early lead.

The Panthers taking the win 19 – 14.

Best and fairest went to Layla Hinz and players choices’ went to Jasmine Davidson and Sienna Drew.

The Young Sapphires and Dynamite match was neck and neck the whole game finishing in a draw.

Players choices’ went to Taylah McNally and Kajiah O’Sullivan also receiving best and fairest.
