Crystalbrook Collection, the owners of the Port Douglas Marina, today announced their CEO Mark Davie would be stepping down from the role.

The Marina is set for a $200 million development to include a 6-star hotel, villas, dining precinct, and more.

In February this year, Mr Davie said Crystalbrook were hoping to have their DA for the project lodged with the Douglas Shire Council by the end of June 2019.

In May, a spokesperson for the business said the Marina DA was still in the works and noted a lot of items had to align for a successful application.

Today’s announcement from Crystalbrook Collection states the company’s ongoing projects will continue despite the leadership change.

“The executive leadership team of Crystalbrook Collection will continue progressing with the company’s projects within the Australian hospitality and leisure industry,” the statement read.

Crystalbrook Collection thanked Mr Davie for his time as CEO and wished him the best for his future plans.

“The company wishes to thank Mark for his contribution since the inception of the brand and wishes him the best in his future endeavours.”
