UPDATE 6.20pm:
The car has been cleared and Captain Cook Highway is open to traffic in both directions.

EARLIER:
Traffic on the Captain Cook Highway can expect delays due to both lanes being closed following a road incident north of Wangetti Beach, near Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures.

Queensland Police confirmed they were called to a single vehicle rollover just before 4.00pm today.

Paramedics on the scene attended to a female in her 20s who suffered minor injuries and did not need to be transported to hospital.

It is understood she was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Traffic of the highway remains affected in both directions as emergency crews work to clear the road.

Motorists are urged to take caution, allow for some delays, and follow directions from emergency crews as the crashed car is removed from the area.
