Police are seeking assistance form the public to help find missing man Christopher Kitchener.

Mr Kitchener was last seen at about 6.00pm on Tuesday, 22 January in Kowanyama but Police believe he may be in the Cairns or surrounding regions. 

It is understood he has not made contact with family or friends since he has been missing and police have concerns for his safety. 

He is described as aboriginal with a medium build and about 175 centimetres tall with brown eyes, black hair, and grey beard. 

Anyone with information regarding Mr Kitchener's whereabouts is urged to contact police.
