THE DOUGLAS Shire welcomed 12 new Australian citizens yesterday in a moving ceremony at the Port Douglas Community Hall.
Mayor Julia Leu ticked off on a dozen new Aussies from the United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, Italy, Indonesia, USA and the Republic of Ireland.
