Latest Port Douglas Real Estate market review

REAL ESTATE

PORT Douglas Realty’s Quarterly Market Wrap is fast becoming an ideal avenue for locals and potential residents to assess the real estate market.

And sales consultant Tim Smith says the report was created to educate people about the market, what properties are worth and to enable buyers and sellers to keep their finger on the pulse.

In the August update, the median unit price is $216,000; the median house price $580,000; a three-bedroom, one bathroom house $410,000 and the highest price of a house for this period went for $1.8million.

“The data we have is showing encouraging signs and the market is improving. There are many options available at the moment and we are also starting to see new development. This will be further enhanced when the re-development of the Marina begins,” said Smith.

With more than 20 years’ experience in luxury holiday accommodation and Port Douglas Real Estate sales, the team at Port Douglas Realty can assist anyone who may be considering investing in Port Douglas real estate.
