PLAYERS and officials from three Douglas Shire sporting codes were celebrated in Mossman and Port Douglas today.


School students, locals and tourists alike lined the streets in both towns to congratulate the Port Douglas Crocs, Mossman-Port Douglas Sharks and the Douglas Dragons on their recent premiership success.


The Council run initiative was well received, with the players and officials personally congratulated by Mayor Julia Leu and council staff before the parade.
