Bumper stickers to help find Toyah Cordingley’s killer have hit the road and are heading to far northern communities.

Clifton Beach resident Prong Trimble and Kewarra resident Bronwyn Farr are handing out about 1500 stickers in towns from Clifton Beach to Mount Carbine.

The road trip was organised yesterday at the last minute but Mr Trimble said the response from the community has been great.

“The repose has been very overwhelming,” he said. 

“The main thing is to get the stickers out here because not everyone can make it down to Cairns so we decided to do a road trip.”

Mr Trimble and Ms Farr have been active in raising community awareness in helping to find information on Toyah’s killer.

Ms Farr was involved in organising the “United for Toyah” event on Wangetti Beach last weekend and Mr Trimble organised the “Wangetti Walk” the week before.

“The trip today was in response to requests and demand for the stickers, “ Ms Farr said.

“Prong hasn’t been able to keep up with demand for them so the idea is to get these out into the community so people can get them locally.” 

The bumper stickers will available to pick up from Mossman at 12pm opposite the cemetery, at the 9 Mile Store in Julatten at 1pm and at the Mount Carbine Roadhouse at around 2pm.

The aim of the stickers is to encourage anyone with information that may help the police investigation to contact crime stoppers.

Limited stickers are available from the Newsport Office at the corner of Owen and Warner Streets, Port Douglas.
