THE Port Douglas Crocs returned to the winners’ circle with a convincing 139-point win over Cairns City Lions at Holloways Beach Sporting Complex at the weekend.

This win comes after their 26-game winning streak was broken when they lost two weeks ago to the Cairns Saints in an entertaining Pink in the Tropics clash at the Port Douglas Sporting Complex.

It was another memorable match for Crocs captain Kye Chapple who kicked 11 goals as he ran rampage on attack and was ably supported by midfielders Brett Mckeown and Brett Meredith.

The final score was Port Douglas 23. 18. 156 Cairns City Lions 2.5.17

“We really bounced back, the boys played well and it was the perfect game to work on a few things,” said Chapple
