Hot on the heels of sold out shows that thrilled audiences at Port Douglas Carnivale in 2016 and 2017, the Speigeltent will again be the performance hub at Dixie Inlet with extended shows from 18 -27 May.

The official Carnivale weekend is from 25-27 May.

Entertainment for 2018 includes:

CIRCUS WONDERLAND: Step right up to the spectacle, spangle and intrigue of an old time travelling circus. Experience unique and amazing circus stars performing astounding feats and tricks.

Featuring a world class cast of Australian and International superstars including the Strongman, the Contortionist, the Gypsy and a troupe of agile Acrobats who come to life for a hilarious and thrilling show under the big top for the whole family. (24, 26 & 27 May)

ROUGE: From the Australian creators of Papillion, Rouge is a decadent blend of sensational acrobatics, operatic cabaret and tongue-in-cheeky burlesque. A nonstop celebration of the astonishing, the surprising and the downright sexy, Rouge is an adult circus cabaret for grown-ups. (18-27 May). (Contains course language, adult themes and nudity).

AKMAL SALEH: One of the most successful, accomplished and popular Australian comics, Akmal Salah will be performing his one man stand-up comedy show on Saturday 26 May. Originally from Eygpt, his Arab heritage steers his comedy to issues of religion, honesty and hysterical looks at modern day life.

He displays an incredible ability to deal with hot topics in a hilarious and non-offensive way that will have audiences eating out of the palm of his hand.

With a career that includes movies, TV, radio DJ, talk show host, published author and a slew of award nominations under his belt, this will be a side-splitting show not to be missed.

LATE NIGHT BURLESQUE: A late night spectacle for adults. Featuring world-class entertainers specialising in the art of the beautiful and bizarre.

Titillating, tempting, and tantalising entertainment guaranteed to tickle your fancy. Contains coarse language, adult themes and nudity). (26 May)
