Lifeguards close Four Mile Beach
PORT DOUGLAS
FOUR Mile Beach has been closed after marine stingers were found inside the net this morning.
Lifeguards have shut the Port Douglas beach for the rest of the day and are urging people to refrain from entering the water.
The beach was closed several times throughout February due to northerly winds increasing the threat of irukandji jellyfish.
