THE annual Mantra charity cricket day was another overwhelming success in Port Douglas on Saturday, raising $10,000 for Ending Violence Against Women.

Hundreds of people turned out at the Port Douglas Sporting Complex to support the annual event, which saw five teams take part in a round-robin cricket competition.

There were plenty of thrills, spilled catches and laughter throughout the day, auction items, prizes for the kids and a lolly drop by GBR Helicopters.
