PORT Douglas recorded a hard-fought 35-point win over Manunda Hawks on Friday night.

The Crocs were made to tough it out against a determined Hawks outfit under lights at Cazalys Stadium, but eventually proved the classier team with a 13.12 (90) to 7.13 (55) triumph.

Brett McKeown continued his blistering season with another influential performance supported aptly by Josh Lea and Brett Meredith through the midfield.

Big man Kallam Oates also impressed alongside Jordan Chapman, with the Crocs able to break the will of the Hawks with 8.5 to 2.4 second half, including seven unanswered goals.

Captain Kye Chapple also hit the scoreboard with four goals.
