PORT Douglas returns after a bye to face the lowly Cairns City tomorrow at Holloway’s Park.

The Crocs should win handsomely against the bottom placed Lions after a well-earned break.

They kept them to just two goals in a their 139-point victory in round seven and a similar result is expected tomorrow.

Captain Kye Chapple had a day out on that occasion booting 11 goals, the same number he finished with  against Centrals Trinity Beach before the bye.

The reigning premier will face fierce rival South Cairns and ladder leader Cairns Saints in consecutive weeks after the Lions clash before their run to another final series gathers pace.
