POLICE are continuing investigations into human remains found at the Botanic Gardens in Cairns.
At this stage investigators aren’t treating the death as suspicious.
A member of the public made the grim discovery near a carpark in Collins Avenue in Edge Hill yesterday morning.
A police search then resulted in further remains being located nearby.
An examination is being conducted to confirm the identity of the deceased person.
