CLOTHING belonging to missing Julatten man Reece Kearney has been found in bushland near Georgetown.
An extensive search by Police and SES uncovered the items over the weekend prompting an increased appeal for public assistance into his disappearance.
The 26-year-old was last seen on December 15. Police believe he may have attempted to hitchhike in the Georgetown area after initially taking off on a black motorcycle.
“Police are appealing to any members of the public who may have seen a man hitchhiking in the Georgetown or surrounding areas over the last two months to contact police,” A Queensland police spokesperson said.
