Kuranda train collides with car

THE Kuranda Scenic Railway train has smashed into a car on Collins Avenue in Cairns.
Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of the crash.
Collins Avenue, near the intersection of Sheridan Street, is currently closed.
The driver of the vehicle has been taken to the Cairns Hospital and is believed to have no serious injuries.
The train was carrying 109 passengers.
