THIS tropical summer QT Port Douglas has some plate pleasing events to keep you from going troppo.
The ‘Green’ season has officially hit Port Douglas and the pitter patter of a few rain drops have visitors heading for the dry hills. The streets are a little quieter which means limited options for locals to wine and dine.

QT has made the bold move to keep their kitchen open later when traditionally most places close earlier. Now there’s no need to rush your dinner and cocktails - slow it down, enjoy the conversation and laughs. Or if you’re just feeling like a late night peckish with mates, QT will have your dining experience sorted with last orders before 10 pm.

QT has searched the foodie matrix to bring you their ‘Flavourful Finds’ series. These are based around International and National food days. A celebration of culinary delights and creative cocktails are something to get excited about… any excuse to get your squad together for a good times, am I right?
KICKING THINGS OFF THIS FEBRUARY
National Pizza Day - Friday 9th Feb – For pizza lovers this day is a gift from the bubbled mozzarella gods. $10 wood fire pizzas all day long poolside and at Estilo.
Valentine’s Day
Wednesday 14th Feb - Our chefs are a bunch of hopeless romantics who have put together a menu of Valentine delicacies that you’ll swoon over. $75 for an intimate dinner in Bazaar with a glass of French champagne on arrival to get the romantic feels flowing. Bring your Love ‘A’ game and book a night for your sweetie.
Chinese New Year
Friday 16th Feb – Bring on Chinese New Year at Bazaar interactive marketplace with an exuberant array of Chinese inspired dishes. $65 per person.
National Margarita Day
Thursday 22nd Feb – When a drink meets an eat with the same name… “Yaaaaaas PLEASE!” Have them both, Margarita cocktail and pizza for only $20!
Fish and Chip Friday's
Starting 23rd Feb - Thanks to Port’s access to fresh fish, this fabulously scrumptious dish is just $15, served up from 5 – 8 pm. With just the right amount of salt, crunch and tartar sauce washed down with a $5 Great Northern you’ll be hooked.
Endless Summer Sunday 25th Feb – QT cranks up the cool on these scorching summer days. Chilled beats with live DJs from noon – 5 pm, thirst quenching cocktails and a bar menu that will tickle your taste buds for the ultimate poolside Sunday sesh.
