On the hunt for Douglas Shire's best Christmas lights

Douglas Shire Council has given businesses the go-ahead to help make the streetscape joyful and festive with lights
In a recent announcement, the Douglas Chamber of Commerce said businesses should enjoy decorating with solar, the preferred option, or electric lights.
They are asking businesses to ensure there are no safety (ie trip/ electrical) hazards and to contact the Chamber or Council if there are any concerns.
Council, meanwhile, has installed Christmas banners on light poles in Front Street Mossman and Davidson Street Port Douglas; as well as Christmas trees and lights in the Triangle, Front Street Mossman and Market Park, and Wharf Street Port Douglas.
