Summer is here, and so is the latest magazine

PORT DOUGLAS Magazine has partnered with Virgin Australia and tourismPORTDOUGLAS.com.au for an eye-catching 25th edition.

The trio is joined by talented lifestyle and travel photographer Katie Purling to bring you the latest campaign ‘Step Into Our World’ – a visually stunning eight-page spread.

General Manager of Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas, Steve Molnar, said the magazine was a highly sought after read amongst visitors to the region.

“The PORT DOUGLAS Magazine is a fantastically assembled magazine that always showcases the wonderful characters, events and activities that this region has to offer,” he said.

“It seamlessly brings together the topics of tourism, art, fashion, food and lifestyle making it a highly worthy read for not only locals, but visitors alike.”

PORT DOUGLAS Magazine Editor, Sarah Cullen, said the area’s access to such diverse and striking landscapes was inspiring a kaleidoscope of breathtaking imagery on social media.

One visitor who certainly illustrated this was Andrew Watson, whose stunning image of a sunrise overlooking the Coral Sea features on the cover.

“We could not look past this as our cover, it’s simply beautiful,” Sarah said.

“The viewing platform at the entrance of the new Flagstaff Hill Walking Trail is already becoming a must-do activity.”

Molnar agreed, saying the edition’s Carpe Diem theme encapsulated the spirit of Port Douglas.

“It’s a great cover for the 25th edition, this region is all about seizing the moment and the image expresses this perfectly.”
