What’s happening behind the fence on Port Douglas Road?

THE 'Welcome to Paradise' mural in Port Douglas has been pulled down.
Local maintenance company TNQ Services were commissioned to remove the big fence at 71-85 Port Douglas Road, the location of a once planned $140 million Havana resort.
The last of the coloured timber planks were removed this afternoon as rumours begin to circulate the site could become a new indoor paintball and skirmish centre for Port Douglas.
Newsport understands a Sydney-based construction company is involved.
