POLICE have released images of a monster 5.2 metre crocodile shot dead in Rockhamption yesterday.

A tip off from a member of the public led to wildlife officers finding the king crocodile on the Fitzroy River near Etna Creek. It had suffered a bullet wound to the head.

The grisly find has sparked a police manhunt for the reptile’s killer.
