TICKETS to the Gala Evening of the 2017 Douglas Business & Tourism Awards are now on sale.
Voting for the anticipated awards close at 4pm today with the finalists for each category revealed on November 10.

The red carpet evening is one of the highlights of the year, with the business community encouraged to ‘cheers to our peers in the Douglas Shire’.

Tickets for the event, to be held at the Glade Pavilion at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Port Douglas, are $169pp or $1,600 for a table of ten, but be quick because the event will sell out fast.
Included in your ticket price:
- A memorable evening of style, celebration, music and laughter!
- Walk the Red Carpet and sip on a glass of bubbles.
- Professional Photography from 6.00pm in the new Sheraton Grand Foyer.
- A sumptuous 3 course Dinner served in the Sheraton Mirage Glade Pavilion. Seated at 7pm.
- Free flowing beer, wine and sparkling wine.
- Entertainment: Live performances from local talented Artists during the evening.
- After party: Dance the night away from 11pm.

Tickets have gone on sale earlier this year to enable better planning for the end of year celebrations.
Local auctioneer Bevan McLaren returns as the awards official master of ceremony at the gala evening, kicking off in the Sheraton Grand lobby at 6pm on Friday 24 November.
