ALL roads led to the Douglas Orchard Society’s Annual Autumn Show at the Shire Hall on Saturday and for many it was an ideal occasion to display not only their locally grown orchids, but incredibly hard work.

Sales were also brisk at the well-attended event setting up the opportunity for others to challenge their green thumbs. The orchard society also welcomed new president Ken Brown who succeeds Ron Savage.
