Police search for suspect after young boy approached at bus stop

POLICE are searching for a man after a young boy was approached at a Mareeba Bus stop.
Detectives are calling for public assistance in relation to an incident that occurred in Mareeba on Ceola Drive sometime between 7.20am and 7.40am on Tuesday 14 March.
At the time, a 12-year-old boy was waiting at a bus stop when a man driving a white utility, possibly a Ford Falcon, stopped and approached him.
The boy fled on foot and was able to alert family members. Police have released a computer generated image of a man they believe may be able to assist police with their investigation.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 170cm tall, slim build, black to greying hair and grey stubble. At the time he was wearing an orange fluorescent work shirt, a straw hat and dark green shorts.
