Following the lightning-speed sell-out, Michael ‘Chuggi’ Chugg, the promoter bringing the superstar to Australia, said because there was no chance of adding any more stadium shows extra tickets had to be found within these setups.

“There’s tickets that are held off-sale for various reasons,” he said. “Mostly due to sightline restrictions.

“But the demand for Elton’s concerts, which has been incredible, tells us people want to be there and be part of these shows, no matter what.”
