CLIVE Palmer will be on hand as the Port Douglas Crocs unveil the 2016 premiership flag against Centrals Trinity Beach on March 25.

The Crocs host the Bulldogs in their first home match of the season at the Port Douglas Sporting Complex and the local club’s Number One ticket holder is a definite starter.

“Thanks to the The Port Douglas Crocs AFL Club for this great opportunity and looking forward to being there for the first home game of the season,” Palmer posted on the Crocs Facebook page.

“Its going to be a great day and looking forward to following throughout the year. Get around it and looking forward to seeing you all there.”

He is celebrating his birthday the following day and will be accompanied by his family, according to Crocs president Chris Bradsworth.

“I can confirm that Clive will be attending,” Bradsworth said.

“He’ll have a small talk at our 200 club and we really hope everyone has a beer and a chat with him and make him feel welcome at our great club.”
