PORT Douglas saw off a spirited Centrals Trinity Beach on Saturday by 46 points.

The Crocs had set themselves for the clash at Crathern Park after a season of lopsided results and, for three quarters, got the contest they craved against the second placed Bulldogs.

They led by a gettable 18-points at the last change before turning on the afterburners with an explosive six goal to one last quarter.

The 19.10 (124) to 11.12 (78) triumph, Port’s third over the Centrals this year, kept its unbeaten 14 game winning streak intact heading into the state representative bye.

Captain Kye Chapple finished with a seven-goal bag as he closes in on a third straight AFL Cairns ton.

He's kicked 82 goals with four home-and-away matches remaining.

Defender Declan Kelly was a star all day for the Crocs while livewire forward Mitch Bohm (three goals), Ethan McCullough and Peter Bury all impressed.
