IT was a case of deja vu at the Port Douglas Sporting Complex on Saturday.

The Crocs had sapped Manunda of any hope by the quarter time siren in what has been a familiar sight this season. The scoreboard read 8.10 to 1.0 at the first change with the game effectively over after 20 minutes.

Ironically, it was the Hawks who scored the first goal inside the first minute through Duncan Seden, but the jubilation was short lived. Kye Chapple (11 goals), Kurt Bradshaw (5) and Adam Gross (3) hit the scoreboard at will in the first term while Lee Staple (5) was a constant threat in attack.

Port Douglas went on to record yet another 132-point triumph, slightly less than their average winning margin on their home deck this year. Jonathan Hobbs, Brett McKeown, Mitch Bohm and Peter Bury were the standouts, while Chapple and Bradshaw continue to star in attack.
