NORTH Queensland placed in the top 20 at the Youth State Surf Life Saving Championships in Hervey Bay on the weekend.
The finest talent from across Queensland converged on the Fraser Coast for the blue-ribbon event, with the Far North club finishing a strong 19th overall.

NORTH QLD BRANCH RESULTS
Competition was fierce in the 1km and 2km beach runs, beach flag and sprint categories, along with surf race and board events. The championships also hosted the qualifying teams from Branch Championships for the beach relay, surf teams, board relay and cameron relay events.
