A 42 year-old man was arrested for an alleged assault in a Mossman supermarket yesterday.
An investigation into the alleged assault of a 17-year-old Mossman teenager on Saturday December 9 resulted in the charges being laid.

It will be alleged the teenager was in a Front Street supermarket when he was approached by the man and punched to the head.
The teenager did not sustain any physical injury as a result of the incident, which was subsequently reported to police.
Detectives spoke with a 42-year-old Bonnie Doon man yesterday afternoon and he was charged with common assault.
He is expected to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on January 10.
