YOU may have the knowledge and wisdom to help start-ups, mum-entrepreneurs, who have an idea for a business: but have no understanding of how to assist in the process.

Well, the good news is that there is now a novel concept called WISERR – an online access to real people and bite size bits of information to guide you.

There is assistance to put the puzzle pieces together to assist in creating a road map, and guidance in areas such as accounting, marketing, a business plan, administration, content writing and project management.

There are four steps to the process:

1. Create a Profile: Wiserrs create free profiles detailing their wisdom. This could be a product or service for sale, or skills and experience they’re willing to volunteer.

2. Search for Wisdom: Anyone seeking wisdom searches the Wiserr network for specific skills, services, products or people

3. Hire a Wiserr: Wiserrs are selected and hired quickly and easily via their profile page

4. Rate your Experience: Customers leave messages and ratings on profiles to build Wiserr businesses and encourage new customers.

Kate Perry is the brains behind the unique concept and says Wiserr is a platform that provides a place for the wiser generation to share their valuable experience and skills with people who are seeking specific services.

“The Wiserr network connects those rich in knowledge with those in need of know-how through entrepreneurship, employment, mentorship and volunteering opportunities,” says Perry.

“The model is built based on viral growth – continually growing members – and we are at the very beginning and looking to expand the number of profiles on our directory.

“And I am looking forward to hearing from those interested in the concept and to contact me to share their skills, knowledge and wisdom. Our objective is to be a national resource of human capital and a place to share knowledge,” she said.

Perry said they are targeting two groups and many will identify with these groups.

Group 1: Wiserrs with business, administration, start-up knowledge – in a variety of areas and industries such as such as business, hospitality, fashion, media, small business and have more than 20-30 years’ experience – and are willing to give back and advise ‘green’ businesses. There are opportunities for profit through coaching calls over Skype, phone, meet ups and interactive workshops.

Group 2: Mums underutilised in the workplace and crippled by child care fees and have turned to entrepreneurship, but need business guidance and advice from a human rather than a webinar course or you tube. Along with this they need support and wisdom so that they don’t give up too easily or are defeated by things that are really the result of tiredness and being overwhelmed.
