Mossman set for 'Dizzy' experience
HYPNOTIST
DOUGLAS Shire residents, who enjoy a mix of comedy, off-the-wall entertainment and a special blend of hypnosis, should lock in Friday September 8 at the Mossman Shire Hall to experience the highly sought-after hypnotist Dizzy.
Combining dinner and a show with a difference – it’s rare something this avant-garde comes to Mossman – you will get the opportunity to assist in a fund-raising drive, which will go towards C & K Mossman Community Kindergarten. And the community is being asked to make donations.
This can be in the form of cash, items to be included in raffles and a silent auction, refreshments to be sold on the night and gift vouchers. This will go towards the installation of new play equipment, among other necessities.
“We have held numerous drives to raise funds, which have not been successful. And because Mossman does not attract big events, we thought we’d go for something of this nature and thus far, we have had outstanding support from the local community,” a spokesperson for the organisers told Newsport.
“We have put a great deal of time and effort into this event and we are appreciative of any support we get. We are confident this will be a great event,” she said.
Immensely popular, Dizzy takes traditional hypnotism to the next level, offering stunning, awe-inspiring performances every single time, the likes of which will leave many in awe.
With a mixture of comedy and hypnosis, Dizzy leaves every crowd stunned and amazed - in the best way possible.
According to Dizzy’s website, hypnosis has a reputation all of its own, as it dives into the human mind and explores the depths of who we really are, and what we can really do.
With his special blend of hypnosis and comedy, his shows are unlike any other, combining the art of entertainment with the art of insightfulness, to create an entirely new show that you won’t be able to get enough of.
C & K Mossman Community Kindergarten offers a unique kindergarten program based on its internationally-recognised teaching guidelines: ‘Building waterfalls’.
Their government-approved program is centred around a living and learning community that values children as competent and capable individuals. This play-based curriculum helps children to socialise, build confidence, develop communication and early literacy and numeracy skills to ensure the child is school ready.
