PERFECT weather and the promise of a mild winter enticed Jocelyne Hoste to Port Douglas.

Of Congolese and Belgian heritage, the funky young traveller is the face of the latest PORT DOUGLAS Magazine and has fallen head over heels for the town.

“Everyone is so relaxed,” she said.

“I like to explore and really enjoy being in nature. I’m always down for a hike or relaxing at a creek, and Port Douglas has it all."

The new edition of PORT DOUGLAS Magazine hit news stands today and is as colourful with content as the fresh cover Jocelyne stars in.

From food, glorious food, a Daintree weekend away and our famous chapel by the sea, it’s 108 pages full off tropical bliss.

It also features renowned architect Charles Wright and two local women kicking goals abroad in Tiarna Ernst (AFLW) and Kylie Sackley (Nashville songwriter).

Happy reading.
