An air and land search is currently underway for a missing woman in Port Douglas. IMAGE: Newsport.
POLICE are seeking public assistance to help locate a woman reported missing from Port Douglas.
Lipping Zhou, 71, was last seen yesterday (August 9) at around 10pm at a residence on Murphy Street, but hasn’t been seen or contacted anyone since.

Emergency services, including a helicopter and ground assets are currently searching the area and request the public check their yards for the elderly woman. Concerns are held for her welfare as she has a medical condition.

She is described as being Asian in appearance, of slim build, around 140cms tall with short black hair.
Anyone that may have seen her is being urged to contact police.
