Spectacular ‘Bella Vista’ property sold under the hammer

THE beautiful ‘Bella Vista’ property in Mowbray has been sold at auction for over a million dollars.

The spectacular five-bedroom home was sold for $1,188,000 to Chris Saint from Adelaide, who plans to move into the property for his retirement.

Saint, a Professor at the University of South Australia, was competing against two Melbourne bidders for the sought after home.

“All three buyers spent money and time to fly up and view the property,” said Mark Flinn from Ray White in Port Douglas.

“This is a credit to the marketing and exposure we gave the property and the sale is a great sign that things are picking up. For the right property their is interest out there.”

There was a total of 35 bids all up from the three different buyers before the property was sold under the hammer.
