A 51 year-old Diwan woman was charged by Mossman police on Friday following investigations into the alleged theft of a number of credit cards from vehicles and the subsequent fraudulent use of the cards.

It will be alleged that credit cards were stolen from vehicles at Diwan, Cow Bay, Cape Tribulation and Noah Beach between September 25 and October 20.

The woman will appear at the Mossman Magistrates Court on November 23 charged with five counts of stealing or alternatively receiving tainted property and 28 counts of fraud.
