Instagram sensation Renee Somerfield loving the ‘island vibes’ of Port Douglas

WITH 1.5 million Instagram followers and counting, bikini model Renee Somerfield knows a thing or two about turning social media into big business.
The stunning 26-year old is currently in Port Douglas for a three day photo shoot for her new swimsuit label Somerfieldswim, which will feature in the upcoming issue of PORT DOUGLAS Magazine.
Somerfield has developed into one of Australia’s top models, booked out months in advance in some of the world’s most alluring destinations. If she’s not modeling along the east coast of Australia she’s booked by leading brands in LA, Miami, London and Hong Kong.
“I love Port Douglas,” Somerfield said.
“It's so beautiful. We are so lucky to have such a magical place in our own backyard.
“I have been to the Port Douglas region a few times before and it's always a new adventure - there's so much to explore.”
Somerfield shot to stardom through the rise of social media and has turned it into a lucrative career. Her posts on Instagram receive hundreds of thousands of likes with top brands clamoring over the 5 foot 10 beauty.

Cee is gaining a reputation as one of the world’s best with a portfolio containing the most glamorous models and fashion brands.
The pair will be showcasing the palm fringed beaches and natural splendor of Port Douglas until Friday, which will form part of the next issue of PORT DOUGLAS Magazine.
