POLICE have charged three men following drug enforcement operations in Mossman and Port Douglas yesterday.

Officers from Mossman CIB and Far North Tactical Crime Squad executed search warrants at addresses in Miallo, Mossman and Port Douglas, allegedly locating cannabis plants, dried cannabis, methylamphetamine, drug utensils and quantities of ammunition.

Three men aged 32, 43, and 53 have been charged with possession and production of dangerous drugs, possession of drug utensils and possession of things used in the commission of a drug offence.

They are scheduled to appear in the Mossman Magistrates Court later this month. Investigations are continuing in relation to the operation.
