THE Douglas Chamber of Commerce posed questions to all Council Candidates prior to last nights’ forum held at the Port Douglas Community Hall.

The questions put forth by members of DCC were prepared after discussions with the Chamber held over the last few months.

The questions were also included in the DCC ballot drawn by nominees at the forum together with other members’ and the general public questions that had also been emailed to the Chamber’s Secretary.

At the time of publication a DCC spokesperson advised that not all Candidates had responded to the questions, however they are endeavouring to provide an update.

Tourism Port Douglas and Daintree also invited the Council Candidates to share their thoughts, policies and feedback on issues relating to tourism in our region.
