Douglas Heat is very excited to announce they will be holding a Free Ladies Only come and try basketball session on Thursday 18th February in Port Douglas Cyclone Shelter.

“This is with a view to possibly form a ladies competition in 2016 which will be a fantastic opportunity for women of all ages in the Douglas Shire to come have fun, do something different for fitness and promote women's health,” said Secretary Kerry Larsen.

“You may even want to enter a team from your workplace, or sponsor a team. If so, please let me know,” she said.

Players of all abilities from 16 years and older are welcome to participate on Thursday 18th February at 6:00pm at the Port Douglas Cyclone Shelter located at Port Douglas State School.
