The popular lifestyle show, Better Homes and Gardens paid a visit to the iconic Botanical Ark created, designed and owned by Alan and Susan Carle.

This visit was broadcast last Friday 5th February at 7.45pm.  Veteran presenter and passionate horticulturalist Graham Ross took a tour of the gardens and enthusiastically introduced the viewers to many rare and exotic tropical plants that Alan and Susan have so meticulously grown and established for the general public to enjoy and the scientific and medical worlds to employ in their relentless search and research for cures and advances for the benefit of humanity.

After showing the viewers around this fantastic botanical wonderland, Graham had a chat with Alan and Susan about their achievements in turning their original dream into reality and what their plans were for the future.Apparently the Graham Ross and the Better Homes and Gardens crew shot so much footage that we can expect to see Alan and Susan again on a programme later in the series.

Apart from creating the Botanical Ark with his wife and family, Alan Carle is a consultant with the LA3 Group who are putting together the Master Plan for the exciting forthcoming Botanical Garden in Mossman which is due for first stage development later this year.
