NORTH Queensland Surf Life Saving converged at a spectacular Palm Cove beach last weekend to compete in its annual championships.

Already this year Ellis Beach and Etty Bay has held their championships with Port Douglas and Mission Beach to hold theirs later this year.

A consistent Cairns Surf Life Saving Club was victorious again with Ellis Beach and Port Douglas continuing to battle it our for official bridesmaid honours.

Mum's and Dad's, Senior and Master competitors praised surf carnival officials for another very well run event.
