Mossman Golf Result week ending 21 August

Mossman Golf Club’s Tuesday event sponsored by the Courthouse Hotel was won by Peter “Jock “ Constantine with 38 points ahead of Leon Baker 37 on a count-back to Rick Herschell.

NTP’s – John Cameron 6 & 17, Don Demler, Elijah Boon, Jock Constantine with a great shot to 6 inches.

JUNIORS -  The Club is hosting free beginners clinics each Tuesday 5pm – 6pm for youngsters aged 6 – 17 years.

Wednesday’s nine hole stableford event was won by Barry Costain with 20 points.

NTP’s - Graeme Scott and Ron Smith.  

Thursday’s Ladies event was an Ambrose and was won by Fran Macri, Jill Osborne & Chris Dermott  ahead of Pris Freeman & Shirley Carney and in 3rd place Robyn Fleming and Jo Constantine.

The very popular Friday nine hole Mossman Butchering Steak Bash was won by Bill McCarthy with 22 points ahead of Ray Bennetts 21.

Saturday’s event was the Holden Scramble which attracted a good field of players.

Winners – Bernie Boon, Tony Chivers, Logan Marsh and Greg Dunn  53 ¼.

Runners up – Wade Duncan, Brendon Wood, Rachael Byrne and Judy Kraidy 57 5/8ths.

Third place – Elijah Boon, Matty Smith, John Petherbridge and Lisa Smith 58 ¼.

NTP’s – Mark Geddes, Keith Gard, Pris Freeman, Elijah Boon, Dave Nesbit and Joe Wild.

The winner of the Sunday event was Warren Bishop with 38 points on a count-back to Steve Gray and Matty Coulthard.

Players are invited to nominate for the Mossman Hatfield Electrical Classic to be held on 27 & 28th August.
